Officials reported less erosion than expected on our shorelines after Debby hit our coast. It appears this is due to the preparations taken by officials on Folly Beach, Isle of Palms, and Kiawah, Seabrook, and Sullivan’s Island.

Tropical Storm Debby brought little erosion to the Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island and Folly Beach. Breach Inlet was hit hardest, while Folly went unscathed.
