Kayaking + paddle boarding are great ways to explore the Charleston area. Tomorrow is the first day of summer, so we thought it’d only make sense to dive in to a few local spots to get your paddle on in the Holy City.

A local entrepreneur has quit horsing around. Kyle Kelly, founder of E-Carriage Charleston, recently unveiled a hand-built prototype of the area’s first e-Carriage.
This all-electric carriage is an alternative to the horse-drawn rides downtown and is designed to look “classic Charleston” with a modern twist.

Why did the guinea fowl cross the road?
Why did the guinea fowl cross the road? To *bock* traffic downtown. These speckled birds with West African roots somehow ended up South of Broad, often holding up traffic. Have you seen the guinea fowl in CHS?
