While I’m still a writer, I’m also a certified Vision Reading Specialist! Does your child struggle with reading and you can’t figure out why? Do they context fill, guess words, get super frustrated, and just have an all around hard time with reading or writing?

My son did too. He was going into 5th grade and I thought he’d start picking it up then like his older brother did. But it never happened - we went to the eye dr and they said he was fine. We switched curriculum (we homeschool) multiple times and NOTHING worked. We tried reading programs and we argued a lot about it.

Then we found Vision Reading Academy and it literally changed our lives. Found out he had a convergence issue with his eyes and he was seeing letters that overlapped! Even though he had 20/20 vision- he couldn’t see the words right.

We started vision therapy right away! By doing their program and combining eye exercises and reading exercises he went from kindergarten reading level to 6th grade! And the coolest part is that it’s a FIX and not a bandaid.

It’s chilly and crazy windy but I got to put my feet in the sand and soak in the salty air. I love the beach and always will but also crave the woods I’ve come to also love. It’s a short weekend to visit family but it’s also so reviving to see friends I haven’t seen in awhile 🥰

It’s the little things. I picked these flowers last spring with the kids, pressed them, and created this awesome bookmark. Every time I look at it, I smile. I have a dozen of these from fall leaves to flowers and they always make me happy.

I give them away for gifts, and every year we make more and do it all over again. This year our toddler sees a flower and says “Mommy! For your book!” (referring to my pressing book)

Do you have calls to action throughout your page?

Now I am not saying you need to have them everywhere on the page. You should have one above the fold, one after the next section, and definitely one after you introduce your offer like the one pictured. It also doesn’t hurt to switch up the verbiage, so it relates to the section it is below.

The idea is that you don’t want them to have to scroll and scroll to find a button. They should be easy to see, easy to understand, and in different places on your page.
