Matthew Holtby is coming to Cavan this Thursday! We’re delighted to be hosting another awesome night of music with another awesome musician / songwriter! Happy hour kicks off at 6 pm + we have craft beer + food specials!

Hailing from Warkworth, Matt has been honing his craft as a songwriter and performer for nearly two decades, producing original and emotive music that strikes a chord with audiences. Recently embarking on a new adventure as a solo artist, he has channeled his influences from the music he grew up with into his latest collection, featuring songs and stories that touch on themes of love, loss, and redemption. His music has been gaining recognition, with his last 3 singles being picked up for rotation on CBC Radio. New music is on the way… 🕺🤗

Who is Harry Hannah?

Harry Hannah is an independent folk singer/songwriter from the North end of Northumberland, Ontario. “The Cobourg folkster“ some tales have told.

Built with a rugged sense of charm and a heart as soft as a Doberman’s chew toy. Harry’s made a name for himself, skinny dipping by the riverside, running wild with the rabbits and wolves, and howling his sweet songs all the way from Northumberland to Alberta. Currently residing in Baltimore, Ontario. Harry’s been putting in the blood, sweat, and tears, as we speak, into his next piece of “folk’d up creations.”

2021 Boots & Hearts Emerging Artist winner, Apple Music’s face of “Canada’s Country” playlist for September 2023 and just this past week he preformed at the Canada Country Music Awards in Hamilton!

He’s a 25-year-old singer-songwriter from Burton, New Brunswick and he’s performing at Cavan St Bar + Bistro Thursday… let’s welcome Riley Taylor to Port Hope!

Surrounded by music from a young age, Riley was influenced by the Country classics being played on his uncle's and grandfathers' guitars at bonfires. Inspired by the power of these songs, Riley quickly gravitated toward the genre.

Picking up his guitar in high school with humble beginnings of bedroom concerts and the odd brazen bonfire jam, he moved on to the bar scene just as he was old enough to get in.

Riley’s latest single release, “Better Days,” combines traditional country elements and modern production with Riley’s unique and undeniable vocal. Written by Country recording artist Griffen Palmer and Jade Eagleson, this one will surely have us all agreeing,
