Carly, Geoff's daughter has posted that Geoff's funeral is on 20th December at 1:45pm at Burnley Crematorium. She has asked everyone to wear Christmas jumpers or Christmas attire as dad wouldn’t have wanted people in black.

It is again with great sadness that I post this 😢 Sadly Geoff Newsome aka Geoffrey Bubbles Newsome has passed away 😢 I have not got any details of the funeral but will post on here when I can 😢 RIP

I hope Carley doesn't mind but for those who know Geoffrey Bubbles Newsome , and has not heard from him in a while, here is an update on his health😔 I'm sure all our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family 😘

Hi everyone. It’s Carley Geoff’s daughter. Me and mum been into hospital to meet with the doctors and they have diagnosed my dad with Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer’s. It is not treatable as it has gone too far. At this time we are just asking that family visit as he is struggling recognising me and mum at times. Thank you for your continued love and support.

It us with sadness that I have to post on this page that one of Radio Burnley's past long serving members, Pam Tweedie, has sadly past away, her funeral is to be held at Burnley Crematorium this Friday at 11.20am.

A brilliant day at Ightenhill Fun in the Park...the weather was absolutely fantastic and we made a nice amount of cash...It'l pay 2 phone bills... Thanks to James Bullas...because it wasn't the best of weather to jump in a mascot suit...he did...'TWICE'. Thanks James. And thanks to everyone who came to help!!
