Somewhere between our bus ride from Hanoi and Ha Long Bay, our tour bus stopped here. After bio-break, passengers get to look around. It's a cultured pearl gallery/shopping area.

Outside, visitors get to see the process of pearl culture. There are tables manned by one personnel each. In some tables, the personnel manning it inserts small white beads (not sure what these are) into a clam. In other tables, the personnel is working on cultured pearls taken from the clams.

The Imperial City is a walled enclosure within the citadel of the city of Huế (much like the Philippines' Intramuros City).

Hue is the former imperial capital of Vietnam during the Nguyễn dynasty. Located here are palaces that housed the imperial family, as well as shrines, gardens, etc.

A visit to the Imperial Palace is a glimpse into Vietnam's history.
