We make a tradition out of talking about the things that matter most in the hometown we share — we agree when we can and disagree when we must. You know, democracy. Expect some challenges along the way, likely a laugh or two — and a few moments when you're really really proud to be a part of it all.

Chuck Mitchell told me a story 11 years ago that has stayed with me all this time… it’s about how dogs came to be allowed in our local courtrooms to support child victims of sexual violence. And now he's helping cities around the world do the same thing.
