The 9th Annual Tallahassee Town Hall is 2 weeks from tonight via Zoom on Monday, April 12 at 7 p.m.
In some hometowns they barely know each other. In others they just fight. In Tallahassee and Leon County we do business differently. We make a tradition out of talking about the things that matter most in the hometown we share — we agree when we can and disagree when we must. You know, democracy. Expect some challenges along the way, likely a laugh or two — and a few moments when you're really really proud to be a part of it all.
Join us via Zoom this year:

What a great local Tallahassee story! 👏👏👏
We had so much fun visiting local businesses all over this holiday season during our 25 Days of Local Gifts. 🎁 We have so many treasures right here in our backyard. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone near & far! 🎄✨
Who knew about this tea room in ?! All Things Tea has a specialty tea & gift shop and a beautiful tea room (see comments). You can make a reservation for tea, hold a private event or attend a workshop. ☕️🍮
Did you know you can purchase from Ology Brewing Company online and pick up from 3 different locations around !? We were so excited to find out they sell vodka! 🍸🍻
Day 21 goes to a true treasure - Uptown Cafe and Catering! Their smoked salmon is out of this world and makes a super easy meal.
Local woodworking is on the table for Day 20 of local gifts. 🤩🎁You can find Ian MacDonald and his gorgeous work on Instagram: www.instagram.com/no_right_angle
Day 19 goes to Il Lusso! Their squid ink pasta is AMAZING and we're so happy we can order it (dried!) from the curbside menu. 😋
Day 18 goes to LeMoyne Arts! Check out their Holiday Show for artist-created ornaments, jewelry, notecards, original art, glass and more. 🎨🎁 Plus they're offering outside youth workshops over the holidays (with masks and space).
Chuck Mitchell told me a story 11 years ago that has stayed with me all this time… it’s about how dogs came to be allowed in our local courtrooms to support child victims of sexual violence. And now he's helping cities around the world do the same thing. Tune into episode 25 to hear about Chuck's groundbreaking work with the TMH Animal Therapy program and to learn about the beginnings of the Miccosukee Land Co-op and Mad Dog Construction. Throughout this episode, we talk about building community through shared experiences like a legendary softball team and work parties.

Day 15 of local gift ideas goes to one of our favorite locally owned businesses - ClothesLine! They designed our logo... and doesn't it look beautiful on this shirt. 😍😍

Quarter Moon is one of those stores that means to me. I've been going there since I was a child and on my last visit I got to meet the (newish) local owner, Katie Haggerty. Lots of great gifts here!
PS: anybody know what local business I was at in this picture? Hint..
Day 7 of 25 Days of Local Gifts goes to Hearth & Soul TLH. Everything in this store is so beautiful! ✨💛
