Hello Prince Fans . . .

We are delighted to share with you our new podcast now available on Apple, Spotify, TuneIn and anywhere else you get podcasts. We proudly call it "A Show for Prince Fans," and it's produced by KUDZUKIAN, a Memphis-based multimedia/podcasting company.

The show is what the title says it is: A show for Prince Fans.

Not just your average everyday Prince fans -- the 1980s Purple Rain loving Prince fans. If you’re one of those, you’re invited too. But this show is for the die-hards -- the people who bought bootleg CDs, the people who listened to the whole albums, the people who joined the NPG Club. This is a show for people -- black, white, Puerto Rican, everybody just a freakin -- whose lives have been touched by the unquestioned musical genius of Prince Rogers Nelson.

The format will be mostly music -- album tracks, remixes, extended play versions of popular songs and the occasional live performance. The music itself will cross a broad spectrum. Why? Because Prince’s music crossed a broad spectrum. Listeners will hear Prince’s unique sound, blending rock, funk, jazz, blues and music which defies categorization.

The show is less about “playing the hits,” than it is going beyond them. The show will have an air of unpredictability, much like the man who inspired it. But in spirit, the idea is to take a “Hits from the 80s” fan and expose them to music they don’t know -- all while keeping it fun and lively.

Our hosts, Lee Eric Smith and Shannon White, are two diehard fans who share their insights, nerd moments and stories with listeners. In coming seasons, we aim to create a platform for fans to talk about his music and how it impacted their lives. We also intend to have interviews, perhaps even with those who played with him.

We launched the show with 10 episodes on April 21, to commemorate the day he went back "In2 The Light." A second batch of shows is set for June 7, to celebrate the day he joined us "Here on Earth."
