Hey everyone! Samantha or Sam here. 👋☺️
I thought I'd do a re-introduction to those that are new here & as I try to navigate getting back into the swing of things!
I've certainly missed connecting with everyone! It's been awhile!
To start off, I began this podcast journey on Feb 21st 2021. But I believe the seed was planted in Aug of 2014 when my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I created this podcast as an outlet to remind others going through cancer that they are not alone in their fight. Sharing real stories and testimonies from other cancer fighters, survivors, and family members of those who have passed on. There's even been a couple other special guests as well. Ive always said that if at least one episode helps and inspires someone who's been affected by cancer, then it's all worth it🩵
I also started my very own luminary cancer walks in 2020 called Sams Walk for Cancer. Our last event was held in Sept 2022. I'm hoping to get it started back up very soon, just like this podcast!
I never dreamed that my podcast would turn into what it is today. I have been on a bit of a hiatus, as Im sure a lot have noticed on my socials. I got married & moved in the latter part of 2022 & now recently welcomed our daughter in the fall of 2024. Life has felt like it's moved in a whirlwind pace but in an extremely good way. I'm hoping to continue back with my podcast and have bi-weekly or monthly episodes. I suppose it would all be dependent upon how many guests I get!
Speaking of which, I'm now accepting new guests for an all new 2025 season of Why Me God podcast! If you'd like to be featured and share your testimony, please follow the link in my bio and fill out a quick questionnaire. This will help me know when would be the best time to set up your session! I've got a new streaming service that I'm working to use for our recordings that would allow both video and audio! If you prefer just audio, please let me know in the questionnaire form.

From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate all of those who have supported me from day 1. Thank you to all of my guests thus far. Your vulnerability and grace in sharing your testimony. I wouldn't be here today doing any of this without you! And I of course thank my Savior for placing this little podcast on my heart. If you've listened to any of my past episodes you've probably heard me talk about how even starting this up was a huge leap of faith for me. It's truly been a leap I'm so glad and blessed that I took! 💛
