Did you know you can now post your YouTube videos on BleachRadio, along with your mp3s?
They go into rotation just like a song file, only instead of showing your web page in the main panel, your video plays!

The Rikk Beatty Band (Maurice the Fish Records) DOMINATES Bleach Radio!
The final results haven’t been tallied, but it looks like ‘Odyssey’ by The Rikk Beatty Band will be the most played song on Bleach Radio for the THIRD CONSECUTIVE MONTH! Congratulations to Rikk and company!

We've just added Google Maps to the Bleach Radio Event Calendar. Subscribers and Sponsors can now enter their gigs, and a pin will automatically appear on the map where they are playing. It even gives directions to your gig from anywhere you are!

Mid December Report: The Top 50 chart for December 2012 has been dominated by a couple of new songs from Smileyfoot, from Littlestown, PA, with "Sparkle" at #1 and "As**at" at #3. Between them is the StoneAge Thriller's perennial "Girls Love Rockets" demo. Passionfish, who held the #1 and #2 positions last month, have "Send A Little Sunshine" at #4.
We are just over halfway through the month, so things may change; stand by!

WooHoo!! Apple has just released an update of the mobile version of Safari, and appear to have finally implemented the full HTML 5 standard. So now you can listen to Bleach Radio on your iPad or iPhone just as easily as on your computer or laptop! (Until now, you had to press 'Play' between each song if using Safari Mobile; Ugh!).
This has always worked on Windows Mobile and Android smart phones, for what it's worth.

We have implemented a global Event Calendar for Bleach Radio, which is integrated with Google Maps to show the locations of all venues with events listed in the calendar.
A read-only version of this calendar is available from Bleach Radio's home page, with no login required. Adding events to the calendar is done from your Control Panel, after logging in with your ARTIST or SPONSOR account.

Hello, Bleachers!
Tony here, with the mid-month status of the top charters at http://BleachRadio.com. If you are a songwriter and/or a band and you don't have your original music on Bleach Radio, you don't know what you're missing! This month's 'Band Fund' holds $300, up for grabs by any of the the 34 bands currently being played on the station (21 of them have songs in the Top 50 charts).
Now on to the top 10 songs from the Top 50 charts...
Slots one and two have been owned all month by PassionFish, a power pop project from Minneapolis fronted by Russ Parrish. You may know Russ from another charting band, Tin Man, from Seattle / Tacoma.
Third place is currently held by The Aury Moore Band ("Breakin' Me"), who also hold the number nine position with "Breathe". AMB is currently in the studio recording a new CD scheduled for release in December; looking forward to hearing it!
Fourth place is occupied by an unfinished demo by StoneAge Thriller, "Girls Love Rockets" (I guess they need to finish it, now!), followed by Portland's The Heavy Woolies, with "Lemon For A Lime".
Slots six and seven are held by a great Italian rock band, Negramaro. I can't understand a word they're singing, but it's great music!
Seattle's No Rules band holds the eighth position, with the horn-driven, funky "Girl".
Finally, in position ten, is Atlanta's Duke Fame with "Serenity Now", from their "Too Proud To Practice" CD.

Thanks again for supporting our little experiment at Bleach Radio!
Here are a few songs moving quickly up the Charts:
#6 - 'Oh Sophie', by Tin Man. This has really been moving up quickly, overtaking another Tin Man submission ('Queen of Something') which is at #9, but has been on the charts much longer.
#13 - 'Keep Your Eyes On Your Heart' by Solveig and Stevie. This is a great remake of the classic song by The Allies (circa 1982)
#21 - 'Lift You Up' by Raymond Hayden - A haunting ballad featuring great string and vocal arrangements.
(chart positions as of 12:30pm PT)
Currently, the payout for these (and many other) artists will/would cover their subscription, by a large margin in some cases.
If you are affiliated with any of them and they have not subscribed, consider doing so before the end of the month
