Mike Parker is an influential American techno producer and DJ, known for his deep, hypnotic sound and minimalist approach. Based in Buffalo, New York, he has been a significant figure in the techno scene for over two decades. Parker began his music career producing experimental and noise music, later transitioning to techno, where he established his unique style. His label, Geophone, is renowned for its hand-printed jackets that reflect the abstract nature of his music.

His debut album “Dispatches,” originally released in 2001 on his Geophone label, is considered a blueprint for deep techno and has been reissued on Field Records. He has released music on seminal labels such as Prologue, Semantica, and Spazio Disponibile, and has performed at renowned venues like Berghain and Tresor.

Introducing 'Kick Back' by Resonances - It, the latest addition to NECHTO's Bandcamp-exclusive project. Leonardo from Grosseto, Tuscany, embodies his passion for techno. With 15 years in music production, mixing, and mastering, Leonardo transitioned from classical piano and guitar studies to techno after an inspiring Monoloc performance.

'Kick Back' was born from a rainy day jam session in Leonardo's studio, blending analog and digital gear. The track features a TR8 for rhythm, Analog Four for bass and synths, and Moog Mother 32s for surround synths, all sequenced with Arturia Beatstep and recorded in Live 11. The mix, using VSTs like Universal Audio and Fab Filter Pro C2, achieves a compact, gritty sound.

The next release on Nastia imprint NECHTO introduces Stanislav Tolkachev latest offering, 'NECH024.' A pioneer of the Ukrainian techno scene, Tolkachev's journey into techno began in the early 2000s in Dnipro, Ukraine. Renowned for his atonal modular sound, he continues to showcase his mastery of synths in this upcoming release with dozens of timeless tunes under his belt.

Having a longstanding connection with Nastia and the NECHTO label, Tolkachev's collaboration with the label has been in the making for years. Nastia's unwavering support during difficult times has fostered a genuine friendship between them, paving the way for a much anticipated release.

The tracks, recorded approximately five years ago in his studio in Kyiv, are live recordings made using analog modular synthesizers and FM groovebox, adding a touch of hooliganism and romance to the mix.

Having patiently awaited the perfect moment, Tolkachev now unveils the five tracks, characterised by his signature minimalistic, synth-led and atmospheric sound.
