The sporting their hallmark super clean and chic white look, The Library continues to serve up succulently sweet and light coffee as the last days of summer escapes us this year. With a perfect location to grab your brew and stroll into Trinity-Bellwoods Park across the street and enjoy the beginnings of the leaves changing colour.

This location was particularly invaluable helping introduce coffee culture to friends with their wide selection of high quality yet reasonably priced Hario brand coffee equipment.

With a promise that I was not leading us astray, despite clearly being guided down the back alley of a strip stores, this literal off the main street cafe servers up the the famed quality and ambiance of Boxcar Social but with a much more cosy a space.

With smooth jazz vinyl playing from a classic Morantz receiver, this hidden gem was particularly busy today while serving up the some of the most flavourful light roasted coffee from Subtext.

This laneway hideaway is undoubtedly deserving of the pilgrimage and I most assure you, there is a beautiful cafe just past that alleyway.

In the heart of the Pacific Mall top floor food court, the little cafe is definitely worth a stop in this shopping maze. Fame for their signature Vietnamese Egg Coffee, this incredibly rich and sweet flavoured latte is pure liquid dessert. The Vietnamese Egg Coffee will take a bit of time to prepare as they dutifully beat the eggs to a deliciously sweet fluffy foam. This, however, makes this spot the perfect place to pause the hectic busyness of the mall with the seating area and catching your breath with your buddy.

On this morning at this popular community hub, the smell of freshly baked chocolate croissants permeated through as we were patiently queuing for our coffee. With plenty of exposed brick with adorning pieces of embroidery and a large painted wall, there is ample seating for both individuals and larger ad hoc clusters of your friends. With our barista dash between making our coffee and checking on the small batches of pastries, the delicious coffee was great company to us while strolling through the Trinity-Bellwoods Park.
