On the Table Wednesdays:
It’s time to eat Hametz again. Surprise your family with this easy and amazing recipe: High And Mighty Banana, Chocolate, Peanut Butter Cake
INGREDIENTS (Cake):
- 1 ¼ oz. package of parve Cake Mix
- 3 Whole eggs
- 1 ½ cups Mashed ripe bananas (3-4 large bananas)
- ½ cup Vegetable oil
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven at 350 degrees.
2. In large mixing bowl, combine all cake ingredients.
3. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
4. Spread batter on greased and floured 13 x 9 cake pan.
5. Bake for 30-40 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
6. Cool on wire rack.
INGREDIENTS (Chocolate Peanut Butter Glaze):
- 4 oz. Semi-sweet or dark chocolate baking squares
- 2/3 cup Creamy peanut butter
- 1/3 cup Chopped peanuts
DIRECTIONS:
1. In small sauce pan over low heat, melt chocolate and peanut butter stirring constantly until smooth, then spread over cooled cake.
2. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and chopped banana if desired.
