For all those sharing about Aldi’s bacon here is true story.

Aldi sells Appleton Farms which is actual bacon for a pig not a lab. And Appleton Meats is a Canadian company not related to Appleton Farms does grow meat for cells. Two different companies with like names!!

Two different companies. If you are actually worried buy your meat from 4-H or local butcher shop!

Social media users are circulating false claims about Aldi’s store brand bacon, confusing it with a cellular agriculture company that has a similar name.

Taking this from my cousin Rebecca Oyler as she said it perfectly! On National Women’s Day the woman below is my Grandma!

And thinking alot today about all the many strong, intelligent women I descend from. In particular though, my Grandma. She was born in 1914 on a Southern Illinois farm. By the time she hit high school age, the Great Depression had started to destroy the nation. The closest school to the farm only went up to 8th grade. Not continuing her education wasn’t an option for her or her family. So, every Sunday she would walk for several miles into town, where she cooked & cleaned for an entire family, in exchange for a room. Then, on Friday afternoons, she would walk back home several miles. She then qualified for a college scholarship to become a teacher, where she started out in rural one room school houses. Her strength and persistence for an education has inspired generations of my family. Here’s to strong women, may we know them, may we raise them, may we be them 🦋💜 Pictured here sometime around her college graduation day.

☘️One of my favorite tricks for making your face light up is a pop of color on the corner of your eye! You will be AMAZED how it makes your eyes pop!
