Lovely b2b set this Friday at 3B Records with Jack Johnston for the KÖLE networking event. Amazing little gaff Kole has put on for the DJs and producers of Liverpool to meet each other and get to know one another more. Definitely going to benefit the scene and all those who are serious about it. If you’re a DJ or producer, please ensure you come down to this, it’s literal gold dust for your taking and an opportunity you shouldn’t miss out on! Best of all, it’s FREE ENTRY😉

Happy to announce What DJs Do present:

Brainstorm

A night to bring people together, raise awareness and provide a community to help support those within the music industry suffering with mental health and even for those who aren't to try and prevent these issues for others.

The music industry can bring the highs but also many lows, we want musicians to know that it is ok not to be ok and that you are not alone, you can speak up and get the support you need!

Tickets starting from £5 and all proceedings will be donated to The Martin Gallier Project by Gallier House C.I.C, which is a charity dedicated to preventing suicides, breaking down stigmas, and supporting families in the North West. We have chosen this charity as we wanted to stay open minded and include a foundation that is open to anybody no matter who you are or what you do.

Come and show your support, meet some new people and join a community of supportive like-minded individuals.

We look forward to seeing you there!

The response for this has been absolutely fu***ng unreal. Tickets are rolling out nicely and the event is rated 3rd most popular on skiddle in Liverpool alone!! Now I know that might not mean that much, but the reach this has got has been unreal🙌🏼

Oh my days the past two weekends have been absolutely mental with DUFF🤯

Saturday, 16th November me and Dec were laying down tech house tunes in North Shore for the KÖLE x MisRep promo party.

Saturday, 23rd November we did a solid b2b set in The Shipping Forecast (Liverpool) for the basscadet tech house party.

Amazing crowd and amazing scenes. Events will be quiet for the remaining of this year but 2020 has got some amazing gigs in place so keep a look out👀.

Kick starting this month of gigging off with another set at Haus Nightclub this Saturday night from 12-2 with DUFF. Can’t wait to be back behind the decks in a room full of house heads. Great house and tech house tunes all night long so make sure you’re down for this!

So with the end of 2019 around the corner, it’s safe to say my last ‘big event’ gig of the year is later this month on the 23rd of November.

I’d just like to take this time to reflect on what I’ve achieved this year. For 7 months of professional DJing I can certainly say I’ve come a long way. In that 7 months I’ve went from being a bedroom DJ to working with multiple brands, DJing in some of the most iconic clubs and venues of Liverpool and worked with amazing people!

Me and DUFF have been working close by for the past couple of months. As a DJ, Declan is extremely talented and eager and as a friend he makes every gig one to remember. We will be working together more and more, firing out b2b sets left right and centre.

Nightclubs, brands and promoters have asked us back for more nights/ gigs in the future so I will keep you all as updated as possible, big things are in store for us lads and the only way is up from here☝🏼.

2020 is going to be an exciting year, lots more gigs to be announced, hopefully some tracks will be released and signed throughout next year. Possible festival gig to be announced so everyone keep an eye out for that😉

Once again, I can’t thank you guys enough for the support you have shown over the past couple of months. It really does go a long way with me and I appreciate all the help and support I can get🙌🏼

The world we live in today is so reliant on social media, that in many ways artists, producers and DJs have lost touch with what they're doing and why they're doing it.

Social media certainly has it's perks don't get me wrong! Platforms like Facebook and Instagram allow me to connect to a wider audience and helps a lot when it comes to promotion.

The upsetting thing is that other DJs and producers are now more bothered about the amount of people who follow their page rather than their passion for music.

At the end of the day, number of likes or follows means nothing. I know DJs and producers with thousands of followers who barely manage to get a crowd going or lack the skill/ passion to be in it to win it. Whilst I know DJs and producers who don't even have social media who are unsung heroes and their talent goes unnoticed.

The sooner we judge producers and DJs by their abilities and skill and not by the amount of followers they have on Instagram, the better the music industry will become.

Throwback to one of my first ever gigs at North Shore Troubadour when I did a starter set for the KÖLE x MisRep promo party!

Started off with an empty room and finished with a full one. Best feeling ever when I'm able to fill a room from scratch because of the tunes I play🙌

Next month I will be making my return to the venue for another MisRep promo party. Very excited about this!!!

Wow! After a successful B2B set at Haus Nightclub last Saturday, me and DUFF have been invited back this weekend for another B2B set at the Halloween Afterparty😱

Words can’t describe how made up we are that our hard work and names are finally getting noticed for the progress we’ve made and the DJs we are😎

We’re working our way up to a more ‘permanent’ position let’s say so keep your eyes peeled for that👀

We hope to see some of you at this one🥳
