Such a great annual event that Skamania County Chamber of Commerce and the Stevenson Downtown Association - A Main Street Organization puts together each year! (PLEASE forgive the poor image quality. It look like our newest video camera's processor had bit the dust, and so the zoom quality is gone...Time for a new camera - Yeah Christmas!

BE AWARE
Kindness Citation WPD-00786

Someone you think you have good neighbors only to find out they are the best neighbors in the World! Officer Stenlund with the Washougal Police Department had the great honor of issuing a Kindness Citation to Bob! Bob hadn’t seen his neighbor for several days. Due to his concern, Bob called in a welfare check which ultimately resulted in officers making exigent entry into his neighbors home. The neighbor was still alive but in rough shape and was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

Due to his awareness and big heart Bob helped save a life! Well done Bob!

Keep impacting your community one kind act at a time!

From an upcoming U.S. Supreme Court case on ballot grace periods, to Ohio and other states tightening mail‑ballot deadlines, to Donald Trump’s renewed calls to end mail voting, the rules could look very different by the time voters cast their next ballots. This story walks through the legal fight and what it could mean for how — and when — your vote is counted. https://www.clarkcountytoday.com/news/voting-by-mail-faces-uncertain-moment-ahead-of-midterm-elections/
