A big year for us here at Wanderer and I’m so so so grateful. Thanks to everyone who supported us in any way by purchasing a copy of issue 8, coming to the launch party in Bellambi or in Naarm or reading any of our online features and soooo many new friends💕. We can’t thank you enough and we are so keen to make things bigger and better for 2025 weeeee

I’ve been waiting all year for this, is our drawing and crazy fun ideas guy, bringing the most insane illustrations to life every gig guide. He also brings a different lens in terms of music compared to the rest of us here at Wanderer and that’s why I’ve been so excited to listen and share. To paint a bit of a picture of what to expect, when Finn get’s into the studio and it’s time to start creating the next gig guide he tends to get into his own little zone, discretely puts his airpods in and five minutes later he starts bouncing around in his chair whilst drawing on his wacom. It’s the best! You’ll catch Finn pretty much every Thursday at those warehouse Jazz Nights in Sydney and various raves in unknown locations up and down the coast. Expect a bunch of hip hop, grime and a fun sprinkle of Charlie XCX waiting for you at the end. Finally getting around to sharing some photos from our issue 8 launch with ⭐️ it was the most perfect afternoon! Thanks to all the bands who played and artists who shared their work, for jumping on board opening up their bar to the car park, .bellambi for the most perfect space, for the incredible photos, for supplying the film & absolutely everyone who made it, makes us so happy to put on these events and celebrate the issue together. There’s so many more things to say and people to thank but I’ll keep it short here. Can’t wait for the next one already 🫶🏼

We are making our way to NAARM!

Next Thursday the 5th of December we are taking over to celebrate the launch of issue eight 🌌

surprise us with a perfectly timed eight minute track ‘Soft Rock Band’ released today as well as announcing their second full length album of 2024, ‘The Accident’ is due to release on the 29th of November to round out a huge year for the duo.

The new single Soft Rock Band brings a bitter sweet, coming of age movie kind of element to both its lyrics and sound with slide guitars, warm piano and a soft beat driven by snares and congas that keep you tapping away for the entire eight minutes. Read the full review online ⭐️

We caught Naarm based band, on a rare day off from touring. They’ve been on the tour train pretty much all year with a mix of headline and support shows, sharing the stage with the likes of , and so many more. Making stops from Europe and the UK straight to the States and now they’re back in Australia to finish things off and they ‘Aint hopping off yet’, due to complete their almost three month tour on the first day of Folk Bitch Summer which is the first of December. They’ll be playing .pk tomorrow evening if you’ve missed out on their 2nd sold out show in Sydney tonight 🌹
