Originally from rural England, I now live in Sydney’s glorious Northern Beaches, where I’m steadily gathering freckles and dipping my toes in the ocean for inspiration. I’m relatively new on my indie author journey, but the fourth and final book from my Tales from Tottenbridge Series will be out in March 2024. With a focus on smart, quirky heroines and sensitive, sexy heroes, I write slow burn, contemporary romance. My stories are uplifting, a little steamy, and unashamedly chucklesome. I’m Jenna McCall and I write small town, happily-ever-after stories. In the next few weeks, I’m adding hockey to the mix, but still with the small town vibe I’ve come to love. Grumpy, alpha men and the quirky, indomitable women they fall for. My books are a bit on the slow burn side, include mental health rep in some form or fashion and just the right amount of spice to round ‘em out. Oh, and humor. Consider my books a bite of cotton candy in a dark and scary world. Or the palate cleanser your mind needs after reading all that angsty goodness in the dark romance world. Either reason works, as long as you give me a shot!

We'll walk you through our process, line by line in some cases, big picture in others. We'll talk about what works and what doesn't, from adverbs and passive voice to deep POV and character motivation, we cover it all, in context, in action. Brutally honest at times, but always supportive, we hope that you'll find inspiration to enhance your own writing.
