Up in the mountains ⛰️

Far away from the flashy lights and sky scrapers is Jebel Jais

It’s the tallest point in the UAE and sits in the border with Oman

This isn’t usually comes to mind when you think of Dubai

But to think this is about an hour and a half out of the city is wild!

Definitely worth checking out the next time you’re in town 🇦🇪

Just a morning in my favourite place in the world 🌎

I don’t know what it is but, every time I come up here it feels like I’m shooting it all again for the first time

To me, Kintamani never gets old. There is always something that I haven’t seen before. Always something that I missed last time and always, always different weather conditions

Have you got a place like that?

Somewhere that you can go back to time and time again and still feel like you’re getting new shots?

Or maybe just somewhere that when you go back you’re always inspired?

Moody days in Paris shot on the OPPO Find X8 Pro

No one likes getting to a location like Paris when it’s raining, especially when you want to take beautiful photos

Well, that was what we were treated with as we landed all the way until we left

Now I’d usually lean on my camera and editing skills here to turn those gloomy, flat photos into something usable

I’d never think about shooting seriously with my phone in conditions like this

But there is something about shooting on the Find X8 Pro

The larger camera sensors, especially in the zoom lenses make it far easier to good, sharp, detailed images on your phone

Pair that up with RAW images that have a huge amount of flexibility when editing in post

And all of a sudden, shooting seriously on my phone when the weather isn’t ideal becomes a reality

Beyond impressed with the images coming out of this phone...

3 Days in Bali Captured on the OPPO Find X8 Pro

I shoot everything on my camera

It’s very rare that I go out to take photos with just a phone but for 3 days I did just that

OPPO challenged me to capture Bali on their brand-new flagship device and I was impressed!

The Hasselblad Camera System captures stunning images on all four lenses and can easily keep up with some faster-paced street photos.

It’s awesome to see how far mobile cameras are coming and the leaps that is taking to make sure you’ve got an incredible camera in your pocket

Some places just stick with you ⛰️

I still remember the first morning I came here

I had never been somewhere so photogenic in my life

You can see the villages below starting to come to life as the sun comes up

The people on the top of Mount Batur hike back down from their sunrise trip

And if you’re lucky enough, you get golden light that comes in and lights everything up

Anywhere you go in Kintamani is beautiful

But I can’t get over this exact spot.

If you get the chance while you’re in Bali, do yourself a favour and visit Kintamani 🌋

A few days in Madeira 🇵🇹⛰️

This island is gorgeous

Everywhere you go there is something to see and something to shoot

Even though we had grey skies for 90% of the time we were there

Madeira still blew me away

Everywhere you look in Bangkok there is always something to shoot 📸

I think Bangkok is one of the most enjoyable cities to take photos in 🇹🇭

It’s so diverse and constantly keeps you lining up composition after composition

I’d love to spend a few months in this city going through it slowly to find every gem it’s got to offer

Even though I’ve visited Bangkok many times, every time I go I’m always finding things to shoot and document 📸

3 days in Hong Kong 🇭🇰

This has got to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world to shoot

Everywhere you go it seems like there are endless compositions to shoot, so much action to capture and the city always feels alive

I already can’t wait to get back, see you again Hong Kong ✌️

I think I’ve been lost with my direction for a little while 🔍

The saying - ‘The man that chases two rabbits catches neither’ has been the theme of this last 12 months 😅

Constantly back and forth on ideas, content, products, business decisions you name it

I’ve found making decisions and focusing on them without a large amount of doubt has been next to impossible

However, the last few months have been incredibly insightful in so many different ways

And I’m starting to get that focus and direction back

A little doubt still lingers but that’s just something I’ve got to push past

I think it’s so easy to pretend that everything is cool and calculated on social media, especially when you’re as quiet as I’ve been this year

But I just wanted to show a little more of the real side of life today and share something a little deeper than usual

Adjusting focus 🌏

I’ve been doing an outrageous amount of reflecting recently and one of the main things I’ve stumbled upon is that I might have been watering the ‘wrong plants’ for a little too long now.

It’s so easy to stick to what feels comfortable, even if it no longer continues to serve you the way it once did.

I’ve been incredibly focused this week with a lot of work on my plate that I’m finishing up before heading to Sydney next week. It’s always a blast to be back in town and I cant wait to catch up with my friends and family 🇦🇺

I was going through some photos today selecting some to be printed so I can freshen up my house 🏡 And I stumbled upon this shot I took in Bangkok a few years back 🇹🇭

I remember running around this compound of temples in the city, with my little sister Amy in a golf cart racing the light and trying to squeeze as much as possible out of the time we had 😅

I’m heading back to Bangkok in a few weeks and can’t wait to be exploring this incredible city once again 📸
