While only members of the legislature can propose laws, every citizen has the right to propose legislature to her representative. First figure out whether the law you want to propose is a local, state or federal issue, and then find the contact information for the appropriate representative.

Consumer protection laws are supposed to do exactly that; PROTECTING THE CONSUMER. Instead, what I'm seeing is businesses being protected even while they prey on the consumer.
We need to change those laws! We need to make predatory lending illegal. We need to make it impossible for them to hide things from consumers only to have it come to light later.
Let's put our heads together, stand together, and force the changes that need to be put in place!
We need to show our State leaders and Government agencies that we demand that change.
