So often when we have a desire to pursue something new, whether that is a passion, a business endeavor, or a new job, we often feel as though we need to wait to start it (whatever that is) once we know enough or once it’s perfect. Guess what? It’ll never be perfect, and there is always something to learn and grow in anything we pursue. In the latest episode, @drheatherfinley shares a phrase she followed when she first started her business: Go Ugly Early. What does that mean? According to Dr. Finley, this basically means giving yourself permission not to let it (whatever that is) be perfect. It’ll be a little ugly/messy at first, and that’s ok. Just go after it and do it. Why not? In the words of a previous guest (@itsnicandjess ), “if you can fail at something you don’t love, why not fail at something you do love?”
And who knows, you may not even fail. How about that? So... Go Ugly Early.
