This is outrageous, and shows why we need to continue making cartoons and comics and making noise about it! Thanks for the excellent article Rachael Krishna.
Creators and fans are pushing for more representation of women, racial diversity, and LGBT characters in comics. But they’ve been met with a hostile backlash online.

London-Irish Abortion Rights Campaign
BREAKING NEWS: We're very happy to be able to announce the details of the British government's scheme to fund abortions in England for women travelling from Northern Ireland.
The London-Irish Abortion Rights Campaign met with Minister for Women and Equalities, Justine Greening, last week to discuss the final details of the scheme, along with several other pro-choice stakeholders. It will be in place by the end of the year.
We're proud to have played a part in securing funding for women forced to travel for terminations. However, we are keen to point out that this is merely a stopgap. The fight for free, safe and legal abortion in Northern Ireland continues in earnest.
