MODERATE RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER

It's October, but Oklahoma's severe weather knows no bounds. The risk is for tornados, some could be EF2 or greater in intensity and gusty straight-line winds in excess of 70 MPH. Golf ball-sized hail is also plausible. The timing will start after 4PM today and the storms will progress south and east through the evening. I encourage you to stay weather aware with multiple sources and be ready to take shelter as needed. Sources should include a weather radio and a media outlet. Do not rely on tornado sirens.

As a note: Some experimental Neural Network threat estimates put there being a 52% chance of being a tornado within 75 miles of Clevland, McClain Garvin, and Pontotoc counties. Again experimental, but it underscores how today's threat needs to be taken seriously!
