Wow! Where to begin?
I have been inviting brianmayforreal to the Red Special Guitar Meetup for many years and this year the planets aligned and he was free to attend.
Words can’t describe what this means to me on a personal level. What it means to me for the community we have created and what I know it means to you all on an individual level.
I know a lot of your dreams were realised and memories forged. This is a shared experience unlike any other. A truly special day that I am immensely proud of now I have processed it.
I always believed Brian would attend from the conversations we have had but I never thought he would stay for the whole afternoon and play the guitar for us all. This really is the stuff that dreams are made of.
Lovely of him to be wearing his podcast t shirt too :-)
I think it’s clear to see he felt like he was in good company and was at ease with us all and enjoyed himself.
What a day, what a hero, what a guitar icon, rock legend, knight of the realm and all round good human!!
