๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ฒ, ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐๐บ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐บ - With the theme ๐๐๐๐๐๐: ๐ผ ๐๐ฉ๐ง๐ค๐ฃ๐๐๐ค๐ก๐ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ค๐ฌ๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ฃ๐๐จ๐๐ก๐, Basista National High School officially opened its much-anticipated Intramurals 2024 today, marking the start of celebrating sportsmanship, camaraderie, and self-improvement.
The event, held at the De Leon Gymnasium, was spearheaded by the MAPEH Department, under the leadership of Mr. Diosdado Resultay, and supported by the school administration led by the school principal Mrs. Alice Galsim. Organized with the goal of showcasing studentsโ athletic talents, the Intramurals is an annual highlight for the school, bringing together participants from various grade levels to compete in different sports.
The opening ceremony featured a simple yet well-organized program where participants were introduced, and rules and safety guidelines were thoroughly explained. Despite the intense heat, the gymnasium was filled with energy as students, teachers, and guests eagerly cheered for their teams. School colors were proudly displayed, and the atmosphere buzzed with excitement as the program unfolded.
Following the ceremony, the games officially commenced, with basketball, volleyball, and track events drawing enthusiastic crowds. The next few days promise to be filled with action as students compete in a variety of sports, all aiming to leave their mark on this yearโs Intramurals.
As always, safety remains a top priority, with strict adherence to health protocols and a dedicated team of volunteers, led by the Supreme Secondary Learners Government under John Christian Ermino, ensuring the event runs smoothly. With the successful conclusion of the opening day, students now eagerly anticipate the next days filled with competition, sportsmanship, and unforgettable experiences.
