This weekends adventure up Sardine Creek near Big Cliff Dam. Turned out alright but was expecting there to be more water flowing. Not to mention the road up there is one of the more adventuresome roads I have driven.

So as of now since I am slowly moving things over I will be posting my videos here. I am doing things the lazy way and just shared all my videos from NFM to this page. So right now they are out of order I should have shared them from bottom to top from other page wasn't thinking lol. I will still have the other page and I will post same on both kind of redundant but this is more a page for sharing and is a group not a business page which is not what I wanted to start originally but was new to all of this. So anyway enough all that lol Blah, blah, blah. So enjoy the future posts forthcoming when they do come.... Usually about once a weekend since I can only get out and get to adventure on the weekends since I work the rest of the time during there week..

Finally got out yesterday, and had one goal in mind and that was to reach Opal Lake. As you will see mission accomplished! It is just a short video as it seemed hard to find anything truly spectacular up that way. I think I spent more time on my intro than I did actually making the video. But anyway here it is! Was to lazy to put in ending credits and all of that jazz, as I already had made my intro and spent way to much time on it because I am trying to learn Apple Motion which is a whole learning curve in it's own way.

Alright you have seen most of these clips before a couple are new. I am entering a video contest and the time limit is 5min so this is what I have come up with so far. Just about finished just have to get that last little bit of finishing work done. Just wanted to see what some of the peoples thoughts on it were before I send it off to get judged. I have not been able to get out and do any filming lately and the couple of times I have, were like a total bust. It seems like the less I plan for my outings the better off I am. And the more I plan, there never seems to be anything worth filming when I get there. Better to shoot from the hip and trust your instincts rather then get all meticulous about it all. Anyways, hopefully I will get a good outing soon. Gonna have to go higher up since the snow is melting and all this hot weather is drying up the creeks and off the beaten path areas that I like to go. But I will find something soon. Need to go on a trip farther from home and get to a snow covered mountain I think and start from there.

Last weekends adventure had some pretty amazing views. Kinda felt like I was on top of the world considering there was only a few mountains that were higher then I was. Views of Mount Jefferson, Three Fingered Jack, and the Three Sisters. Tumble lake was not in my plans as I was just going up there to explore because I really have not been up that way. Sardine Creek and Road is the first area of video I shot on Saturday, and oh man let me tell ya. Can you say the worst road ever, but saw some great sites flew on the honey bee super highway as I called it. I must have been in the natural path that honey bees were taking to and from there nest because if you pay close attention you will see little white dots fly towards me and past me like I was standing still. Every time I would stop they would be attracted to the sun mirroring off my Mavic and they would buzz all around. On Sunday I headed up French Creek from Detroit Lake and up there I ran into Tumble Lake which had some of the most spectacular views that I have seen for a while. Not all of the video shot turned out super awesome in quality but you get what you get lol. So hope you enjoy, it is seeming harder and harder to find any off the beaten path waterfalls as all this hot weather is drying up the creeks and such. Since I cannot fly in most state parks where some of the more spectacular waterfalls are I have to search for other things. Maybe a beach trip soon if I can make it there on a day that has almost no wind but we will see.
