Our Story

The Story Super Club Radio started at the end of August 2006, founded by Michalis Stylianou and co-founder Nicholas Kyriakides, whereas the first website was hosted under SNS Online website of Nicholas Kyriakides web-sub host. The radio server was established and soon we had our first DJ's broadcasting on our online radio. We did DJ'ing ourselves with other DJ's that were active over the Undernet IRC Network on our very own irc channel #SuperClub. Co-partner and Music producer Marinos Avraam had already joined us as part of our adventure, he's our mentor and coached us on how to broadcast, as he helped us in every way possible to teach us the basics of broadcasting, he made our radio spots and participated as a DJ. Marinos Avraam has many years of experience on fm radio broadcasting and music. He helped us later on with organizing our event party's. Our first event party rolled out at the end of the summer of 2007 (August-31-2007), where we had only around 40 members and was near the CTO (Cyprus Tourist Organization) beach near Larnaca. On 9th of August 2008, we made our second event party where we had over 120+ members and it was at the Governor's beach near Limassol, we took a special license for renting the area from Pentakomo municipality for our event. Rafaela Teq a graphic design enthusiast that started off as a DJ in our radio team, being the youngest member around the age of 14. She participated from 2008 for a short period and in 2009 she got back full time with us. For a while now she is part of our admin team and participated in many ways by advertising our radio creating banners, graphic images and also big front covers for the radio as you may see on our page, Facebook Group and some of our older pages. ----- ===== How to get your music promoted on Super Club Radio. ===== 1. Send us a message on our official page by going first to https://www.facebook.com/SuperClubRadio/ then press the button "Message". 2. We only accept your music creation in mp3 format only. It must have a sample rate of 44.1kHz and bit rate 320 kbps. 3. You must have all id3 tags included within your mp3 which include all your info, cover art and website if any and record label if any. 4. It must NOT contain any warez sites or illegal links that are not your own creation. It must also NOT include other radio station name(s) or radio spots within the song. 5. Best sending methods for sending us your mp3 should be from either Facebook attachments or MediaFire, Dropbox, Box or any other similar service. If you have a Soundcloud account, please make sure to send us your link (with download enabled). 6. It would be very helpful if you have a biography info of your band, so we might use it for writing on our posts from our website. 7. All promotional mp3 submissions are free, as long as they have been understood from all above before submission to us. If you are a member on ipluggers.com website, then it's easier for you to get also submitted to us faster. By accepting to do as above you also accept that you have submitted it on your own, but in any case your record label does not approve we are not held responsible of any damage, loss or any responsibility if we decide to remove the song from our radio service, without hesitation or if your record label has an approved right to send us a message to remove it, we will do so accordingly. We also have the right to reject any song or music that doesn't fit our listening matters like those with profanity words or anything bad within the song or music. Narcissists, pranks or just bad jokes of any kind of submission will be rejected. Spam of any kind will be also rejected. Any of the above are subject to change at any time without prior notice. The type of music on our online radio is also depending on our RJ / DJ / Broadcaster while doing live broadcasts depending on the type of music they choose to use.
