creative industry is important for the Belgian economy, innovation, culture and identity. The fashion and design sectors provide work in terms of design, production, presentation, promotion, sales and distribution. It is essential that these activities will stay and evolve in Belgium as much as possible (at least the creative process). In order to emphasize this importance the initiative IkKoopBelgisch / J'AchteBelge (Buy Belgian) has been established by Flanders DC (Flanders District of Creativity), MAD (Brussels fashion and design platform) and WBDM (Wallonie Bruxelles Design Mode).
