And.... Another new toy added to the collection!!! Get ready for some dj sets!!! :) It's looking like the previously mentioned gear might just be used for production and the dj setup will be used for performing, but only time will tell. This project is constantly evolving! Happy Holidays! :)
-and in case you're wondering, this dj controller is the Pioneer DDJ-400. It runs using the Rekordbox dj software.

Preparing for live performances! I'll be practicing using a DJ technique called stem mixing, where each part of the songs are separated into different audio files (in my case, for example; melodies, chords, bass, and percussion) and then each part can be affected separately while the song plays for custom live experiences! I look forward to learning this new skill and sharing it with you as I progress! :) The (midi) controllers that I am using for this are the Akai Professional Fire and the Akai Professional MidiMix. The software that I am using is FL Studio. It has been tricky to learn how to use the software for performing because I haven't seen anyone else doing it the way that I have wanted to, but I've watched many tutorials online and found a way that I'm happy with. Still figuring out the details :)
