So I've been working on a 4th book in the Adventures of Hot Rod Todd Children's illustrated story books along with illustrator
Cameo Anderson - Writer / Illustrator Cameo Anderson and
Ashlee Kiser but ......... though I liked the story line I simply wasn't feeling it. That said, both Cameo and Ashlee are extremely patient with me as my books have a habit of evolving as they go along - me bad.
I was looking for something that's important to the characters and story line that's sort of there, but not there - like appears to be one thing but in fact it's another - perhaps.
Tried out fairies, pixies, cherubs et al but ...... well everyone uses them so thought WTF I will simply invent a character to simply be there maybe quietly keeping any eye on things ......... that character ----- well heck hows about a PixieFly. Half mischievous Pixie and half beautiful butterfly. Here's a couple of them and yes, we do have a 'boy' one in the works too 🙂

STRUGGLING - aaaaargh

In the process of putting together a 4th book in the Adventures of Hot Rod Todd series featuring Countess Czari, She is the pups beloved aunt and somewhat of an 'Adventurer'. Inevitably there's all sorts of ups and downs and intrigue but ..........

I'm 'sort of' in love with the story line but, trouble is, despite all the input and help from Cameo Anderson - Writer / Illustrator and Ashlee Kiser I'm simply NOT 'feeling it' despite revisiting it a number of times and tweaking some of the spreads story lines.

This is the Second (2nd) Edition of the ‘Adventures of Hot Rod Todd Learning ABC's' which features the main characters from the three (3) beautifully illustrated children's story picture books, ‘Hot Rod Todd to the Rescue’, ‘Visits Loch Ness’ and ‘Rescue Mum and Dad’ , revolving round a litter of six AKC Registered Siberian Husky puppies born March 14th 2019. Now as a back up to the Story Book and the coloring Book we have ‘Learning ABC's’ books which again, is Siberian Husky themed. Learning ABC's has little teaching moments in it, but it is also fun and engaging. The words are easy for kids to understand and it’s a book that can be used multiple ways, not just with finding letters but with helping to read when kids get a little older. Kids can relate to the book particularly if they have Siberian Huskys in the family.
There's also some fun pages as well a 9 coloring pages (samples below) so enjoy.

Welcome to 'Hot Rod Todd to the Rescue’, the first in a series of 'Children’s Picture-Story Books' revolving around 6 Siberian Husky puppies born to Mom (Dam) Empress Maya and Dad (Sire) Damien Czar on March 14th 2019.

All the puppies have alter ego’. Hot Rod Todd’s the racing driver, the leader of the pack whilst BBQ Haku, the only girl, is the brains. Eye Patch Echo is PR and Marketing, HRH Simba and Morse Koda are the techy geeks and as for Rock Star Merc ..... well he is just that, a Rock Star. They are all full of character with a whole lot of Husky personality and Husky silliness that make the Story Books so much fun and entertaining.

Throughout there are adventure, twists and turns, drama, tension and surprises that reveal a feel good message, a story line with a happy ending. There are also some educational values.

'Hot Rod Todd to the Rescue' is a 'Children's Picture - Story Book' that is beautifully illustrated by Cameo Anderson. It comprises full page colored illustrations with text that parents can read to their youngsters or, if at reading age or learning to read, youngsters can read and enjoy themselves.
