Anti-Drug Campaign
A Concept Paper

INTRODUCTION
The aim of this preliminary study was to identify the level of knowledge and awareness of the Filipino society about the dangers of drugs and to determine if the use of media and communication strategies increases awareness about the dangers of drug abuse. Today, drug abuse is severely affecting the society causing loss particularly in terms of treatment and rehabilitation costs, lost of productivity and increased crime. Many m**hods and strategies have been introduced and addressing the drug problem either by strengthening the enforcement agencies, organizing prevention programs and increasing anti-drug education as well as improving on m**hods of treatment and rehabilitation of drug users.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this campaign is to raise awareness and urge individuals to take action against drug usage, as well as to educate and motivate youth to reject illegal drugs. Preventing drug usage and encouraging occasional usage to stop is part of this goal.
DESCRIPTION
This Anti-Drug Campaign is a current domestic government propaganda campaign in the world having the goal to influence the attitude of the public with respect to drug abuse and of preventing drug abuse among people in the world. Illegal Drugs is when people get involved in "drug problems," they usually mean abusing legal drugs or using illegal drugs in a wrong way, such as ma*****na, ecstasy, co***ne, L*D, crystal m**h, and he**in.
For the safety and healthy living of a person he or she must neglect illegal drugs so that in the near future you will have a small percent of committing su***de and crimes. Illegal drugs also may lead you to a massive destruction of mind, depression and stress.
