The second release from I Skydd Av Mörkret is upon us, drawing from some heavy emotional source matter - Längtan & Begär takes the listener on a slow, nurturing and disorienting journey through dark emotive and everchanging but familiar landscapes. It's pleasant and hellishly challenging at the same time. Just like life, don't you think?

You'll find it on your favourite digital platform for sure BUT we must urge you to follow the link in our bio and cop a sexy tape from our Bandcamp, it's cheap and you'll get the beautiful cover art made by graphic designer as well as that muddy analogue sound we all love.

on sept 8th I Skydd Av Mörkret will release Längtan & Begär on digital and cassette, the second on our label. the project is helmed by Alexander Danielsson, with assorted members adding both in production and live. building on a solid foundation of droning ambient, the music oscillates between haunting noisescapes and introspective meditations through swirling synths and massive guitars. and it’s fu***ng fantastic.
