Today we celebrate 🎉 18 years, since opening Barone Spinal Care & Performace in Schaumburg, IL on May 8th, 2003. We have loved serving this community by transforming lives through the delivery of Precise Upper Cervical Chiropractic care and supportive services.
We have had many High’s and Lows over those 18 years, but we are still here serving our community. 90% plus of business start-ups, fail within 5 years. We made it past that critical point and continue to get stronger.
I can tell you that I have put in 100 hour plus weeks over those years, more times than I can count.. I have had staff that we thought would be with us for a long time and whom you consider friends, betray me and I have had others whom I never expected to make it, become loyal superstars. We have had months where I couldn’t believe my eyes of how much we get paid to serve people, doing what I love and other months where I have put in those 100 hour weeks with no paycheck at all.
I have had days where I just wanted to quit and disappear and days where I just want someone to pinch me and show me I’m not dreaming.
We have served the top NFL quarterbacks , Vice-presidential candidates, Mr. America’s, Ms. Universes, Kentucky Derby Winners, Top generals. We have also served those that couldn’t afford care and take public transportation hours to see me, police officers, nurses, medical doctors, first responders, plumbers, painters, engineers, teachers. We have taken care of patients w seizures, children with migraines so bad that they vomit continuously. We have saved people, who were carried in and days and weeks from scheduled surgeries, that they never had to get..
WE literally served thousands of patients...
Here is what I can tell you! Many Chiropractors quit.... Many Business owners quit.... I have wanted to quit at times... BUT IM still standing, still serving and am just getting STARTED! I have been Excited beyond belief and bored out of my mind at times.... but that’s MY fault! I am becoming more passionate after 18 YEARS of running this operation than EVER in our history! I am proud to be a Doctor and a business owner, who grew up poor, living in the projects and even dropped out of high school to wash dishes and mow lawns..
I thank GOD for blessing me with a GREAT profession, where I have the opportunity to SERVE And LOVE our patients everyday. A profession where I can help improve both the longevity and quality of HUMAN lives without the use of DRUGS or SURGERY! I had plans for my life but GOD had a better plan!
