So, what is happening on the gram? 😱⁣

In the past few weeks lots of people experienced a significant drop in the hashtags views, with a consequent drop in the overall reach. ⁣
But why is that? Let’s explore the best practice in terms of hashtags use so you can understand if you are doing something different. 💪🏻⁣

HASHTAGS TIPS & TRICKS 👇🏻⁣

1 - MONTHLY RESEARCH. ⁣
Best practice is to do an hashtag research every month. Create a sheet where you can divide the hashtags per capacity (10k to 30k, 30k to 70k and so on) and find a good number of them to create different sets for every topic you need. ⁣

2 - SUPER TARGET and NO MORE THAN 12.⁣
Old times are over! The use of 30 hashtags is now consider from the platform as spam! So, use 10/12 hashtags max and make sure they are super targeted and related to your pic and topic. ⁣

3 - TALK ABOUT THE PICTURE. ⁣
What I noticed working with different clients and niches is that hashtags that are really speaking about the picture are working best. ⁣
If you have a home forniture for example, don’t use hashtags related to people. ⁣

4 - BALANCE IS KEY. ⁣
How would you use the capacity of your hashtags? ⁣
You need to make sure to use a good balance. Depending on your profile too, try to use 3/4 low capacity ones, 5 medium, and just 1/2 big ones (no more than 200k anyway).⁣

5 - 24H CHECK. ⁣
After 24h from your post is essential to check statistics and understand how it performed. ⁣
You can also check for every hashtag if your post is positioned in the TOP 9 sections. If it is, then take note of that hashtag. Try using it again and use it to start a new research. ☺️⁣

If, for example, your profile is travel based, use this word in the sentence, as it would be easier for who has this passion to look for you and follow you. ⁣

- SECOND LINE: use it to promote yourself. ⁣
Your biggest interests or passion, your location or what your love. ⁣

- THIRD LINE: it’s your sentence to monetise, o “call to action”. ⁣
You can simply write: DM for more info, or read my latest blog, or check my product, and then add the link of the page you’d love your audience to land on. ⁣

To create an attractive bio you can also⁣
create an elevator pitch. ☝🏻⁣
An elevator pitch it’s a sentence that reflects your account and brand and that can be useful every time you’ll need to promote your business or talk about it.⁣
