I know I have been MIA for a very long time!!! Life has been well, life! I’ve dealt with a lot of heartbreak this last year between the divorce being finalized and losing a baby at 21 weeks. I still find relaxation is playing games once in a while! Now the question remains, is Yoshi a friend or a tool?! Because I just sacrificed Yoshi! 😂😂 I’ve had people recently ask me if I’ll be coming back to streaming. The answer is that I don’t know. Though I have thought about it off and on. I do miss the community that we all built together!

My Journey!
As a young girl, I grew up with a younger brother who absolutely loved video games. He would try to get me to play them as well, but in all honesty I did not find the fascination with video games. I seen his passion for all things Pokemon and I could not understand it. How could someone find enjoyment in a video game?
Fast forward many years and now I am looking for the type of person I would like to spend my life with. Well, on the top of the list was someone who would not be a “gamer.” Then one day I met the person who changed everything. I was introduced to playing the Pokemon games and it was like a competition with us to see who could finish the game first. Then we would battle each other and from then my passion for Pokemon happened. Then slowly other games started to trickle in and just to test my skills, I’d try them out. All he wanted to do was share his passion with me and because I was seriously curious, I obliged not knowing that my life would change slowly.
Pokemon started it all, then slowly other DS games started being added in. With each game, I did not realize that I was slowly finding a hobby and passion that I truly enjoyed. I loved jumping into the games and just “losing myself” for a short time. As time went on, I would play mostly Mario or Pokemon, but then I was introduced to the Zelda games. The Legend of Zelda games were what really showed me how stubborn I could be in a game. I would threaten to never play the game again, but then I would be dragged back in because I just had to prove to everyone that I could beat the boss and move on! Then when I finished the whole game, it felt so rewarding!
Here I am years down the road from swearing I would never play video games to loving them very much. I find myself on a very stressful day just wanting to play some Call of Duty or any other the other games I play. I have even challenged myself multiple times to step out of my comfort zone and try new games, which is why Darksiders III came into the stream. I swore I’d never play Breath of the Wild, but here I am also playing that. I’ve learned that stepping out of my comfort zone is a great thing and I learn that I can do anything I set my mind to.
My journey is not over yet though, it has only just began! I am excited to share the new ideas or games I have planned for you all! I am thankful for the friends I have made and for the motivating words that have been shared with me to push me harder and farther. I have met some great people and I can’t wait to see who else I will meet. I am so thankful for the members of Please Press Start (Saveroth, Benny Kapow, Odaiden Gaming, Manic Red, Bergmeister Gaming, and SpeedDemon8706) for having the faith in me and offering their support. This is only the beginning!
