A bit of a theme going on at the moment. My energy is really low, so I know it's important to be kind and remind myself that waste is not a waste of time. I know how precious time is, so I find it hard to strike a balance!

I try to block out the hustle culture view of making every minute valuable (from a $ sense) but as a cancer survivor, I know how precious every minute is.
I've had to change my view on time wasting over the years and hold firm in the need for time to renew. Not day spas or holidays, just the simple things like the luxury of time to read a book or just hang out with one of my kids.
What are your favourite ways to waste time?

How hard is it to be honest with ourselves on this one?
Some things we are made to feel guilty that we're making excuses, when we actually have genuine reasons.
Other times, we may not be owning up to the fact that it is just an excuse.

Needed some yoga and sunshine to recover from the many hours spent setting up my new website yesterday. It was worth it, as the pre-orders are already coming in. (Link in bio)
It's here in Australia and I think would be pretty chuffed that I'm wearing one of his shirts on a day to celebrate diversity and help stop discrimination.
This quote of his has definitely been a bit of a mantra for me, as I leap off the stable ledge of an ongoing job and into the cool, inky depths of creative freedom!
