Bramble: the Mountain King - Review

So where should I begin.

If you are around the same age as me or older you may have heard of the song Hall of the Mountain King and know that it was written for the play Peer Gynt way back in 1875.
Now if you havnt heard of the name I can bet you have heard this eerie tune about a giant trapped in a mountain.

Now as for Bramble: the Mountain King. This game visually is stunning from all the bright colors and gnomes, it feels like you entered a Brothers Grimm story. Of course with that being said there is a great deal of dark elements and blood..... and I'll you there is a Lot of blood. The game can feel very slow as you don't get to fight any enemies besides the 7 bosses you meet throughout the game, but for a stealth game that's not your typical "metalgear" or "splinter cell" this was a breath of fresh air. The story is filled in by alot of books you find along the way and helps you get to know all the bosses and explains how the became witch I found was a great way for them to easily explain the lore of the story.

Now I can't say this game was completely great with it being so short with a run time of only 6 hours and 8 minutes it felt like just maybe there could have been a actual fighting mechanic besides the glowing rock you find.

With that being said would I recommend this game? Yes I 100% would recommend this to anyone with Xbox Game Pass, but is it worth buying on Steam for the price tag on $29.99? I would probably say not really and that's mostly because you could beat it so quick.

I personally would rate this game a 7.5/10
The world Dimfrost Studio made is beautiful and the horror aspect will definitely keep you on your toes as you try to solve the puzzles while not being able to kill anything. Even with all that I feel the length of the game definitely plays a big factor in how I am rating this game.

Big news in the world of Microsoft / Xbox today. I can say in very excited as a long time Blizzard fan that they will be teaming up with xbox.
This is a good thing because not only will Phil Spencer do a much needed clean up at Blizzard Entertainment it will also bring a whole list of new games to people that have never gotten to even play do to not having a PC.

This makes brings me so much joy I do t even know what to do, I can't wait to see all the games they bring back....... maybe a Lost Vikings remake who knows but I will be watching to find out.

We hope everyone is having a great time playing the Halo Infinite campaign as much as we are. We will definitely be watching this when it comes out also. Who else will be watching this when it drops.

If I could recommend a game to everyone it would be The Medium.

Fantastic story driven horror adventure game.
It’s definitely a quick play through but omg are the graphics creepy and it keeps you on your toes.
