How have you found peace of mind when stressed out?

What is the meaning of life? That is an ancient yet simple question that has puzzled humanity since the time we became self aware of our mortality. It can crop up from time to time, such as when someone on the autism spectrum gets their diagnosis or even before that deals with suffering from every day life.

So join me in a little art healing as we go over such a subject with my own perspective of this gigantic question and see where it leads you.

When we think of autism, how many of us think about not just the diet, but possibly how some autistic kids react to different foods? How do we keep them trying new things instead of restricting themselves to just 5 foods? This is what I will be discussing with my next guest J. R. Reed on his food blog that is dedicated to autistic food sensitivities and his own journey on the autism spectrum.

J.R. Reed is an autism self-advocate, speaker, writer, food freak, cookbook fanatic, and Kansas City Barbeque Society judge. After spending many years working in and running restaurant kitchens, he moved to his home kitchen where he worked on perfecting his food creations. Now he’s sharing those recipes and stories on his sensory-friendly food blog, My Autistic Kitchen.

To J.R., food is a blank canvas, and he likes to color outside the lines.

When we think of cryptocurrencies, we think of in terms of how we invest in stocks. But is that the only method, or is there more to it? I will be asking my next guest Tucker Bearden on this subject as I learn about how it is used in other ways, as well as reasons some people hesitate from jumping in despite growing popularity with recent national/world events.

Tucker Bearden is a Certified Ziglar Legacy Speaker, Autism Advocate, Best Selling Author and Communications Expert that travels the country inspiring people to take life to another level, while also teaching people how to earn residual returns on their money without the hassle of starting a new business, or learning any complex new skills.

"If you can go out and be the spark that lights the way through the darkness for at least one person a day in any shape, form, or way, it won't matter if your name isn't remembered throughout history or you even get rich in the process, your entire life will have been worth while" - Tucker Bearden

We all have heard on how important having a strategy is in business. As one saying goes, "Hope is not an effective strategy." Even more important when one is neurodiverse (Autism, Dyslexia, ADD, etc). So how do we begin to figure out what works best for us that moves the needle forward? That is what will be discussed with my next guest, Dr. Robert Garcia.

Dr. Robert Garcia is a visibility expert in sunny San Diego, California. He failed out of high school and two colleges due to rampant ADD and probable mild autism. He joined the Air Force and finished his Doctorate in Education after identifying his own unique learning style. Today, he is the owner of SHIFT Magazine and an eight-time author.

We typically think of bullying only in childhood, but it can happen throughout life. This is especially true with those on the autism spectrum that deal with it at school as well as with interacting with society that can make us feel isolated and suicidal. Lets take some time to talk on how to handle an issue that tends to be swept under the rug, especially in recent times with Jason Sisneros, who has his own story to tell on this subject from growing up in a domestic violence home.

Jason Sisneros is a hard-nosed, battle-tested CEO who has taken the science of performance and the art of leadership to the next level through his company, Anton Jae Global, Inc. He is widely regarded as one of the brightest minds in business and innovation. Among his past and current clients are Fortune 500 companies such as Nike, Comcast, Microsoft, and he has turned around more than 100 small to mid-cap companies, earning him the moniker, “The Architect”.

What does Sam Farmer mean by possibly the label of being disabled as a "regrettable necessity?" Recent events have changed his viewpoint on the meaning of the word, as we discuss how we and society perceives the label in a way many don't necessarily expect.

Sam Farmer is a neurodiversity community self-advocate, writer/author, public speaker and consultant for Floreo, a company that leverages virtual reality technology in teaching social, communication and other life skills for neurodiverse individuals. Who is ready for the podcast's return in time for Autism Awareness Month aka April?

This is simply a preview of the guests coming onboard, and I might as well start it with the first episode being a solo round. From how we perceive the label of disability to a not-as-discussed topic of bullying of all kinds and ending the month with the benefits of martial arts for those on the autism spectrum.

I am certainly looking forward to getting back in the groove of podcasting, as these will be aired live every Wednesday at 7pm EST on the Thru Autistic Eyes page before being uploaded on the major platforms such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

Lets get this party started!🎇

How much do you actually know about financing? Have you ever thought about it or merely stringing along with life, being at the end of your rope constantly?

Time to educate oneself more on the subject with our guest Reuben Lowing, former Navy SEAL who decided to dedicate his life towards improving financial literacy in America.

How does this relate to autism? A better question would be, don't you want your autistic child to learn how to become as independent as possible so that they can live a better and more comfortable life? Financial literacy is a major factor in this that everyone, whether on the spectrum or not, should learn.

So let’s learn how to make better use of our finances, Thru Autistic Eyes.
