Attention Bud Nation on Facebook!

I have unfortunate news when it comes to this platform..

Since the reboot of the broadcasts, I have put to work majority of the tactics I can for maximum reach. Sadly though, the mechanics of the algorithm are entirely elusive unless I pay big for Facebook ads AND group admins to allow posts.

The two biggest factors for garnering new attention and creating a new audience are:

- Game Category (covers manual searches and game liked algorithm)
- Shares to groups affiliated with the game (99% of OSRS groups don’t allow the posting of streams or any self promotion)

Other negative factors outlying my decision:

- Unprofessional and almost non-existent content creator support from FB
- Stars are insanely pricy
- Notifications hardly work for letting followers of the page know I’m Live
- $19/mo is spent to keep this page active with live-streams

As much as I want to, streaming to all platforms comes at a decently high cost.. music. The quality and variety of music is severely limited on Facebook and for a game such as OSRS, this matters quite a bit.

With that said, here’s what is about to happen. I am going to be streaming on Twitch. This page will be used to promote that channel and any posted videos will be uploaded here as well.

Platforms such as TikTok, Hover.gg, YouTube and even Twitter will see similar content. This is now the expectations I’m setting for the FB Page.

I do apologize if this inconveniences anyone, but, gotta do what I gotta do.
