Last Thursday, the LSGH Greenies overcame a twice-to-beat disadvantage against the SBU Red Cubs to book a trip to the Juniors Basketball Finals.

Both teams were in a nip-and-tuck affair heading into the 4th Quarter with LSGH just up by 1.

In the payoff period, the Greenies and the Red Cubs continued to figure in a chess match with the former ultimately coming out on top.

There's a lot of excitement surrounding Philippine Basketball after Gilas Pilipinas' impressive win over recent tormentor Lebanon last night. Sure, top guns Wael Arakji and Ali Haidar were absent, but it doesn't matter. Instead, let's focus on how the Filipino Ballers relied on torrid 3-pt. shooting and quick ball and player movement to dominate the Cedars. Boy, it was beautiful.
