The Philippine Disaster Reduction and Management Act, commonly known as RA 10121, establishes a thorough, all-hazard, multi-sectoral, interagency, and community-based approach to disaster risk management. The National Disaster Risk Management Framework can be used to create a master plan that specifies strategies, organizational structure, tasks for involved agencies and local government units, and other principles for responding to disasters or crises. With the help of this strategy, catastrophe risk management should be made cohesive, integrated, effective, and responsive at all levels.
