World football governing body FIFA has today Saturday, April 1st 2023 confirmed a sanction on the NFF and the Nigerian National football team [The Super Eagles] for five years from all international competitions for five years until 2028!

FIFA have stated its reasons for the suspension and they include the following allegations:

◾ Embezzlement of funds sent from FIFA in the last 4 years which amount to N545 Trillion.
◽Corruption Count one [Refusal to pay players and working staff]
◽Corruption Count two [Illegal recruitment of fake players into the national team without clubs]
◽ Corruption Count three [Appointment of substandard coaches and Stadiums for the national team despite the annual revenue]
◾ Corruption count four [Ignorance of home based players and mismanagement of the NPFL]
◾Allowing Ghana to go embarrass Africa at the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
◽ Failure to conduct a free and fair NFF election.

With the decision open to appeal in the Court of Arbitration for Sports [CAS] the NFF will try to appeal as soon as possible.

🟠 | Last season Dakkada FC escaped relegation on the last week of the season after a surprise win away to Enyimba. They spent most of their season in relegation and finished just one point ahead of the relegated teams.

This season Dakkada FC:

◽ Has won just two games out of nine
◽ Are also the side with the worst defense this season.
◽ Worst shot on target record for the season
◽ Seven losses in the last eight games in all competitions
◽ Joint worst GD in the league (-5)
◽ Least amount of points picked at home
◽ Most consecutive losses in the league
◽ Not a single official transfer completed for the second part of the season despite letting a couple of players leave including Austin Osayande.

◽ NPFL TransferMarket's team with the worst recruitment process after letting over twelve first team players from 2021 leave the club both as free agents and undisclosed transfers.

◾Umar Danlami and Dakkada sit bottom of group B in the NPFL with just nine games to go and the club have not even talked about getting a new manger.

Its been six months but everyone talks about the government not paying the players some times.

◾People forget that Caleb Esu and Dakkada in early 2020 did not get paid all the time but his team kept sending shock waves all through the country with unbelievable results in their debut season including the legendary 0-3 win over Rangers at the cathedral that saw the entire Rangers managing crew sacked after the game.
