2주 전, 6월 14일에 발매된 달수빈님의 곡 ”엑스트라“ 편곡을 작업했습니다. 이사 준비와 여러 가지 일들로 인해 곡 홍보를 제대로 하지 못했다는 사실을 뒤늦게 깨달았네요…ㅠㅠ 처음에는 수빈 누나의 감성적인 목소리를 어떻게 살릴지 몰라 며칠 밤을 고민했지만, 결국 모든 부담감을 내려놓고 ‘내가 자주 하던 느낌을 살려서 만들자’라는 마음으로 작업에 임했습니다.

첫 데모를 수빈 누나에게 보내드렸을 때, 진짜 내가 원했던 느낌이야!‘라고 말해주셔서 큰 힘이 되었습니다. 그 말 한마디가 제게 큰 용기와 에너지를 주었고, 덕분에 작업을 빠르게 마칠 수 있었습니다. 가사의 내용처럼 울부짖는 느낌과 말로 표현할 수 없는 슬픔, 그리고 다양한 감정을 드랍에서 강렬한 신스 사운드로 표현하려고 했습니다.

이 작업은 제게 특별한 기억으로 남아 있습니다. 이 곡을 듣고 많은 분들이 다양한 감정들을 느꼈으면 좋겠습니다.
