STELLA ARCHIBONG SPONSORS IBOM MEDIA AWARD 35K BUSINESS SUPPORT ..Lauds Governor's Wife for Support to Women
The Councillor representing Ward 1, Uyo Legislative Council, Hon. Stella Archibong has offered sponsorship of Ibom Media 35K business support to celebrate Akwa Ibom State at 35.
The law marker who doubles as Chairman House Committees on Education, Environmental and related matters made the sponsorship known while in a chat with Organizers of the awards in Uyo.
Archibong, who has series of unannounced humanitarian activities spread across her ward and State lauded the Akwa Ibom State Governor and Wife, His Excellency, Mr. Udom Emmanuel and Dr. Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel for their support to women in the State and women inclusion in Governance.
She further expressed satisfaction with mode of selection of the beneficiary of the 35K Ibom Media Award Business Support which was done online with members of the public making comments via the official handle of Ibom Media Award and comments with highest reactions made the winner.
At the end of the contest which last for three weeks to celebrate Akwa Ibom at 35K, the contest had over 1,000 participation.
After due scrutiny by the Organizers, "Nsikak Akpan Splendent Oils" an entrepreneur who deals with the production of pure and natural oils like Coconut oil, carrot oil, turmeric oil, etc with 286 likes and 262 replies on her comments on the Official online selection post by the Organizers emerged winner of the 35K Business Support.
Organizers of Ibom Media Award will be presenting the cash price to the winner, Nsikak Akpan through Hon. Stella Archibong during the third edition of IBOM MEDIA AWARD scheduled for Friday, 7th October 2022 at Image House, NIPR, Information Drive, Uyo.
Meanwhile, the Organizers of Ibom Media Award who had in 2020 hosted a free skill acquisition programme has noted that it will continue to engage in activities that contributes to the development of the society and humanity through development journalism and thanked the Law Maker for keying into the business support.
Stella Archibong will be decorated during the third edition of the award as the Best Performing Councillor of the Year having satisfied the judgement of the audience and public opinion.
