I’m not a good husband.

Traditionally, I’m supposed to spoil my wife with expensive gifts, take her out for meals and vacations, and support her financially.

But to Divya and me, marriage means complete equality.

We split everything equally — our joys and sorrows, but also our responsibilities and finances.

I remember when we were on our first date, she had fought with me to pay the bill.

She let me win that time, but insisted on picking up the tab on our next outing. And I think that perfectly sums up our relationship.

- I buy her flowers, she surprises me with my favorite snacks.

- She takes care of the kitchen, I do the grocery shopping.

- I pay the electricity bill, she pays the water and gas bills.

- We even split our rent and our vacation expenses.

I know this isn’t the most ‘manly’ thing to do, but we met as broke college students and came up together to become doctors.

So we see each other as equals, and don’t see any reason to follow the tradition of the husband supporting the wife.

More and more women are coming into the workforce today, and I’m so happy to see this new generation of self-empowered women.

Chivalry isn’t dead in 2023. It just extends both ways now.

And I see this as an absolute win for everyone.

Why so many women are getting old and can't keep a man!
7 out 10 woman will look right past a good man and CHASE a man with perceived power and or money. The man with the power and or money can see the THIRSTY a mile away because the behavior is like clock work. He'll use her up and kick her to the curb for trying to finesse. Then often times those women want to go back to the good guy that they passed up on their journey to be saved from what's perceived as mundane life. But the good guy you were to good for don't want you no more either (AS HE SHOULDN'T).. That's why so many of y'all can't find a man. You passed him up trying to live a reality show life! Men generally don't want to commit to women like that.. Your welcome
