💙 Sand Castle Competition & Freezing cold swim in the ocean! 🏰 🌊
Brad and I both come from competitive sporting backgrounds so a sand castle competition was a total yes for us, even if we had no bucket or spade with us 🤣😂

A few lessons from the sand castle competition -

1. Don’t compare to others but focus on the vision God gave you! (Samuel would look around and say but look at the other peoples castles and we kept telling him focus to on what we were building)

2. Stop complaining about the resources you don’t have and use what you do have. (We had no bucket or spade, a hand and a rock it was)

3. You can all add your ideas and contribute towards the vision but ultimately there is only one vision that needs to be worked towards. (Brad had to tell us the vision and Samuel and I added ideas and contributed to the vision without changing the vision Brad saw)

4. Many are leaders but there can only be one chief. (Ultimately the main leader delegates tasks while showing servant leadership and gets stuck in himself - this Brad did)

5. Celebrate others (After we had finished our sand castle we went around to all the other sand castles and chatted to different people from all walks of life including others from different countries and told them how awesome their sand castles were when they were awesome)

We won neatest sand castle & best bridge but ultimately quality time was shared and lessons were learnt 🖤 There is also nothing quite like swimming in the ocean 🤗

🖤 2023 it's time to say goodbye. I want to thank you for all you taught me. The things you deepened within me. The strength you revealed and the purpose you quickened. The moments you gave me as a wife, mother, friend, teacher & leader.

This year may well be over, yet and in it all maybe we can all agree to move closer. Closer to the heartbeat of the one who loves all, closer to the sound of the voice who knows all, closer to the ways of the one who makes a way through it all. Closer to the Prince of Peace, closer to the Almighty God, closer to the Father of the fatherless, closer to the Hope bringer of the hopeless. In our Happy New Year He invites us all to move closer to Him and in return He draws closer to us.

You are a child of a King. Your Identity is in who God says you are. God directs the steps of the Godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. God will order your footsteps this year and you shall see the hand of God on your life - in your personal life, business and ministry.

Unbelief has a cost but faith brings reward.
God is not limited by what you have. He is only limited by your faith.

Benjamin Mays once said: “The tragedy of life doesn't lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach.”

Take some time to be alone and to dream and to think. Write it down!
Goals are simply dreams with a deadline.
“Nobody believes in me, believe in yourself.
It’s never been done before, be the first to do it.
I am too busy, schedule time.
I have made too many mistakes, forgive yourself and move on.
Well this just is not the right time, well it never will be if you keep making excuses.
Take action. Obey what God tells you in your quiet time with Him.”

True success comes from doing the will of God and fulfilling the purpose for which we were created. Everything else is extra.

Jesus is everything! If we make anyone else our everything we are bound to be disappointed. Every relationship is precious but the most precious to cultivate and the one who sticks closer than a brother is Jesus!

I am cheering YOU on. In your corner: saying don't give up! The Father who knows you intimately would stroke your head and gently whisper to your heart, I love you!

2024 a year to live out your purpose, cherish people, love deeply, get instruction and take action.
Here is to 2024 - "The year of more and more and more!” 🎉

Declare this:
I will accomplish great things for God!

I am more determined than ever to make every breath count because this gift of life really is something wonderfully beautiful.

❤️ CHRISTMAS EVE...........
For some it's a joyful time for others it's an incredibly difficult time. Personally I have been on both sides of the story. This Christmas Eve where ever you are, know that you are not alone. There is a God who deeply loves you and sees you as extremely valuable. Remember that it is the thief that comes to steal, kill & destroy but God has come to give you life and life more abundantly! Don’t believe the lie that God is the one who made life miserable his plans for you are GOOD! God is for you not against you. Allow Him in this Christmas, He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother.

To the single parent may you experience Jesus as the Everlasting Father, to the person who has lost a close loved one may you experience Jesus as the Wonderful Counselor, to the person who doesn't have lots of family or is alone this Christmas may you experience Jesus as the Prince of Peace, to the person who has memories of a traumatic Christmas may you experience Jesus as the Mighty God!

BUILD WISELY 🧱

1 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭11‬-‭15‬ ‭(NLT)‬‬
“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have—Jesus Christ. Anyone who builds on that foundation may use a variety of materials—gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw. But on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s work has any value. If the work survives, that builder will receive a reward. But if the work is burned up, the builder will suffer great loss. The builder will be saved, but like someone barely escaping through a wall of flames.“

When reading the above scripture I ask myself the following questions.
1. Am I building what God told me to build or am I building comparing to others?
2. Am I building to say I have accomplished something, am I building just for me and my family or to be recognised or am I building for the approval of God?
3. Am I building anything for the Kingdom or am I self focussed?
4. Am I building upon the foundation of Jesus Christ or am I building upon the wrong foundation?

At the end of the day I believe some of the things we call great accomplishments are not necessarily valuable to God and some of the most undervalued people in the Kingdom are the ones adding the most value in light of eternity! The fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done.

It’s time to keep building what God told us to build! It’s not the time to grow tired or weary. It’s not the time to give up. It’s not the time to worry about what people think. The harvest is truly plentiful the labourers few.
It’s time to build wisely with eternity at the forefront 🧱

SAY THIS: I will take comfort and be encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper! (Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭6‬) From today I choose to build wisely.

The sweetest gift I ever received.

We had various people come up to us at Our Faith Kidz leaders dinner asking if we are all accountants. At the end of the evening we handed out Devotional books and candy canes to random people sitting in the restaurant which caused them to smile and ask questions.

When you marry a fun country wife - anything can happen and probably will 🤣 Brads arm was twisted for this but we will take it!

More than a conqueror. Not in your own effort, not in your own strength but by the grace, power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. Receive that!
You are not going to carry battle wounds with you. Healed from the inside out. Full of peace, love and joy in the Holy Ghost.

The strength of God rises up in your spirit. Strong men, strong woman. What ever wounds you may have carried from childhood, early adulthood they are healed today in Jesus name! The devil will not be able to hang those things over your head.

SAY THIS: I am coming out stronger than I was before! He that began a good work in me will bring it to completion in Jesus name! Everything backfires in the devils face.

You coated in the anointing of the Holy Ghost. You walking in strength as is your birth right by the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ.
