Let me tell you why I decided to stop listening to worldly music….
2 reasons ⬇️⬇️⬇️
1. “Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you.” Mark 4:24
Your eyes and ears are a passage to the soul. Everything we consume has an effect on our spirits. Some things are good, some things are bad.
That’s why you have to choose wisely what you allow yourself to be exposed to because more of it will be on the way.
2. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” Proverbs 18:21
Once I understood this I knew I had to stop singing along to most of these artists, talking about depression, drugs, sex so openly. Now I have a stronger foundation on what I want in life and what I won’t accept. Listen carefully to the lyrics and decide if you want to be living the life you’re singing about.
You might not think it’s that deep but it really is. I wouldn’t be typing all this out if I didn’t think it would help you.
I am careful with what I listen to and very picky, my playlist changed from secular to holy.
It’s been a little over a year since I’ve made that change and I’ve never been happier.
Everytime I put on a worship song I’m full of joy and hope instead of depression and anxiety.
Worship and Praise is my constant reminder that there is a good God that loves us and takes care of us.
I pray that this lands on the page of someone who needs to read this 🕊️.

1. There will be highs and lows.
Now it’s not just the fact that there will be good days and bad days on this journey but it’s how to get through the bad days and how to celebrate the good days.
The most powerful thing to do it understand that the bad times will not last forever. You’re simply going through a season. The second most powerful thing is when you fall down you have to get back up. Successful entrepreneurs fall down 7 times and get back up 8.
Our minds tend to dig a deeper hole for ourselves making the situation seem worse. This is why we have to work on our mindset to have a solid foundation and strong self-belief that we will get through it all. Because you can!!
The highs may seem easy to go through but sometimes we can self-sabotage. This is your reminder to allow yourself to be proud of your progress and acknowledge how far you’ve come.
2. It’s going to be a marathon not a sprint
There is no such thing as an over night success. Stop feeding yourself that lie. Everyone that is successful had to put in weeks, months, years of hard work to create their successful life. Everyone’s timeline for success is different. And I’ve learned that the slower the process is the more you will learn and absorb, the more you will appreciate what you have until you reach your success, and the more you will value your time in this world.
3. The beginning will be the hardest.
As entrepreneurs we go through a process of detaching ourselves from our old lives while simultaneously creating our new lives. The imposter syndrome, self-doubt, fear, 10hr days..everything is going to attack you and make the process 10x harder. But this is why, again, you have to have a solid foundation in your mind of self-belief and determination because this will help you overcome it all.
We have to teach ourselves from scratch how to live this different life…but I’d rather go through this process and continuously grow than take orders from a boss and follow

Thanking Him for everything from the smallest blessings to the largest sacrifice.
God has opened my eyes to another way of living.
I used to be attached to this world, the money, the shiny things.
The old me always focused on problems, my mind was flooded with negative thoughts, I was infested with anxiety, depression, and stress.
And I always felt so icky 😖. I got tired of that feeling. I wanted to be happy, feel joy, be at peace even if I was going through something. That’s a different type of energy…
I thought “let me give God a chance”.
I didn’t grow up in the church, my family wasn’t all religious and I used to not even want to say that God exists. It was that deep for me…
Ooooo that day when I decided to grow my relationship with God and I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, I began to see the beauty of this world.
I no longer had an attachment to material things, the world no longer had a hold on me.
I would focus on God’s promises, I learned how to trust Him, I learned to lean on Him whenever dark thought would try to attack me. I now flood my mind with the Word and think all things positive.
He is with me everyday and I feel so blessed oooo my heart is full 🤍🤍🤍

In the beginning stages it takes the most Consistency, Discipline, and Determination to get the ball rolling.

My take aways
1. These are delicate instructions that cannot be skimmed over. The more times you read through, the more value you will get out of it. And the deeper you dive into the meaning of the verses and truly understand what God is trying to tell us is when you get closer to God.
2. This is basically a love letter. It’s a love letter from God to His children. God loves us so much but we fail to understand it. He wants to protect us and guide us towards the light. He wants a loving relationship with us but we don’t know what that looks like anymore.
3. We must Trust and Obey. We have to first trust that God will always be there, because he will always be there. Trust that he does love us and will only guide us to things that are good. And we have to Obey his commandments, and his word that he’ll tell us when we talk to Him. Obedience is the highest form of worship, love and respect toward God. The more we obey, the greater our blessings.
4. In order for this world to have less evil and more good, we have to love one another, help one another and work together because we are all united under God. It takes personal growth to achieve this, time, and dedication. We also have to focus on things above us and not things of this world so that we have a firm foundation and a better relationship with God.
5. Finally, the most important part is to believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and resurrected on the third day. Without Jesus we would not be saved. That’s why people say Jesus Christ is our Savior, without His blood on the cross we could not be saved. God sent Jesus to this earth to help us, guide us, and save us. Jesus was the most perfect child of God and with Him we can grow closer to our Father God.
I’m not saying I’m perfect after reading the Bible, but it did help me view Life with a Greater meaning and it has given me a greater purpose.
I’m here to help everyone grow and thrive and live a better life with the Lord .
