Congratulations, Joe Henderson & Sierra Health & Wellness Centers, for winning five prestigious Communicator Awards.

The Communicator Awards is a corporate award dedicated to recognizing excellence, effectiveness, and innovation in all areas of communication. It is the leading international awards program honoring talent in this highly competitive field.

During our last all-staff Thanksgiving event in March 2024, Joe narrated and directed a short overview of Sierra Health & Wellness Centers detailing Sierra and its employees' daily work. This communication film earned Sierra numerous Corporate Communicate Awards.

The Communicator Awards is sanctioned and reviewed by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts (AIVA), an invitation-only group of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms. Congratulations to the entire Troy’s Story Team (Cast and Crew) for being selected for an official screening at the Manhattan Film Festival. The Manhattan Film Festival is one of the largest, truly independent film festivals in the world, known for its fearless programming. The festival will be hosted in New York City, the world's media capital, from June 18th to June 20th.

Being selected is quite an honor. It provides exposure, networking opportunities, and validation of your work. Several Troy Story filmmakers will attend the festival to promote Troy’s Story, showcase marketing materials, answer questions, meet distributors, the press, and other filmmakers worldwide. During the festival, there will be Red Carpet PhotoOps available at all festival venues. Festival writers, photographers, and videographers will be present to cover the entire event. We would love to see some familiar faces there.

The 18th annual Manhattan Film Festival will again be hosted at Cinema Village just steps from Union Square. The famous Cinema Village marquee has been featured in film and television productions including Martin Scorsese’s “The Departed” and David Chase’s “The Sopranos.”

MFF will be introducing the inaugural Manhattan Film Expo. This conference will include film screenings, distribution outlets, management agencies, tech companies, a film market, college film programs, headline speakers, and much more!

Every year we work to program a diverse film lineup featuring the industry’s most recognizable names as well as student and emerging talent! We program everything from features, shorts, documentaries, television, web, and new media.

SIERRA Productions is excited to announce the soon release of its latest production from Executive Producer/Director Joseph Henderson titled Troy's Story.

Troy's Story based on true events, is a moving, short narrative film about Troy, a staff member at a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center and Noah, a war veteran who is struggling with addiction, PTSD, and eminent su***de. Over a span of several hours Troy and the staff at Sierra Health and Wellness must do everything in their power to save Noah from the ultimate act of self-destruction.
