- North Cyprus is home to the sovereign Turkish Cypriot people. Millions of people come to North Cyprus annually for leisure, business and tourism.

Between January-April 2022 there were over 1 million Greek Cypriot border crossings into the TRNC and 2 million foreign national crossings.

North Cyprus has never been occupied by Türkiye. It is open to visit and open to live in. The sovereign Turkish Cypriots are very welcoming!

The presence of the Turkish army is to maintain the island’s 49-year long peace.
