Not quite sure how to process that there’s only 12 days of the year left…

But feeling inspired after seeing a post about going through each month of the year & reminiscing on something great that happened that month (as a way to reflect and express gratitude of what the year has brought) we decided to do it ourselves — and, well… it turns out lots of great things happened! 🥹

So here’s our wrap of 2024 〰️ we can’t wait to see yours too!

We have truly never been anywhere like Madeira. The natural beauty around every corner is actually overwhelming at times 🌱🪨 with endless ‘Miradouros’ (Viewpoints), waterfalls & flowers at every turn.

This natural archway, we found in Ponta do Sol was the perfect little frame & such a peaceful little hideaway above the crashing waves below.

It’s officially 𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒚 𝑺𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒏 🍁🕸️

Fanal Forrest is a place that feels straight out of a fairytale book 〰️ eerie movie set ☁️🌳☁️ This ancient laurel forest is known for its mystical fog which, amongst the twisted branches creates this incredible mysterious & unique atmosphere.

Can you believe this place actually exists?

Madeira, is known as ‘𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑰𝒔𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒔’ and it’s easy to see why. 🪻🪻🪻 These beautiful agapanthus ‘African lily’ can be found all over the island & they quickly became our favourites.

Funchal wasn’t our favourite place if we’re honest, generally we prefer getting out of the main city, away from tourists, into nature and finding the hidden gems when we travel…

That being said, the weather was lovely & we did enjoy exploring the old town. We wandered the alleyways, browsed the shops & ofc had to make a pastel de nata stop (it would be rude not to)!

Every detail tells a story at Artyzen Singapore, where the city’s rich heritage meets modern elegance. 🤎

The concrete spiral staircase found at ’s level 4 event space is reminiscent of the iconic spiral staircases of 1920s Singapore, subtly woven into the contemporary design of the hotel.

We’re in love.
