THANK YOU!!!

Dr. Lee Swank has been an incredible part of the community for decades as a Medical Doctor. Dr. Swank has also made significant contributions to numerous projects in our community including the Silent Sport trails and the Hodag Dome. We are so fortunate to have Dr. Swank in the Rhinelander community.

We recently met with Dr. Swank about our current plans to upgrade our Technical Education facilities at the high school and middle school. Upgrading our equipment, tools, and machines are an important part of the project. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Swank made a $500,000 commitment to the project over the next five years. The upgrades for equipment will begin in 2024 and will have a tremendous impact on our overall plans to improve the facilities through a possible capital project referendum in April.

Let’s make a meet up for young and old entrepreneurs (and want to be entrepreneurs) in the Rhinelander area. We will have our doors open on Mondays from 12 to 4 PM for dropping in at your convenience. You can always just use this time for just getting some work done on your computer and utilize our warm space, power outlets, and Wi-Fi. We can run this for a few weeks and see how it goes and see where it might go from there. We are suggesting a $5 to $10 donation at the door to help support us with our building operating costs.

Attention! The dump station water will be turned off on Friday, Oct 27! Get your RVs cleaned out and ready for winter. After Oct 27, RVs will only be able to dump until the snow accumulates. The dump station is not plowed.

Who wants to have some fun playing Bocce Ball? Join our adult Backyard-Style Bocce Ball League! 🙋‍♀️🙋
Things to know:
1. League games will be on Wednesdays, Oct 4-Nov 29 (not Nov 22), 6pm-8pm
2. Accepting two person or four person teams. Only the team manager needs to register the team.
3. Each team will play three 30 minute games each Wednesday.
4. Cost is $20 per team. Prizes will be awarded to the League champions.
5. All Bocce equipment/balls will be provided.
6. Ages 14 and up, please.
